The Pigeon Neck

Found at James St North’s B Contemporary gallery at last night’s art crawl, I came across this interesting piece entitled “Salambo” by Peter Johnston. Made out of soy-based resin and fiberglass, I was drawn to the glossy, tangley and  food-like qualities of the sculpture that had me gazing into the weaves.
