The Pigeon Neck

This is a photo essay of Hamilton named, “Hamilton, Mon Amour”, documented in 2009 and narrated by Dave Kuruk, owner of Mixed Media. It’s amazing to see how the message of the arts acting as a major contributing factor to the transformation of Hamilton as more than just a steel town has remained the same over the years. Even more amazing is the truth behind this message projected in the current landscape of Hamilton in the downtown area.

What I like best from this video is Dave’s quote, which states: “Where there are artists, there’s opportunity for a space for people to meet”. To this I say, bring on more artists Hamilton!!
